Engineering/CAD One of the most critical aspects of large-scale installation of architectural metals is engineering compliance. DFI works with engineering firms to address structural integrity and to assure compliance with regulations of the state in which the project is located CAD/CAM abilities, in addition to streamlining some pattern-making tasks, serve as an effective communication tool between DFI's designers, and architects and engineers. Drawings generated by DFI's design staff can be used for attachment to architectural presentations and provide shop drawings for engineering review, pattern making, and product construction and installation.
