Signage

A staple of DFI's casting production are countless variations of plaques, memorial markers, logos, seals, and other forms of signage. DFI creates custom pieces in sizes ranging from a small medallion to a 13-foot plaque to an 800 pound logo for a building attachment.

Traditional plaques involve a message, typeset as if for printing, which is then photo-mechanically created in a polymer, usually with a textured background. It is then cast in the metal of choice, finished with a darkened background and high-polished letter and border surfaces. In addition, bas relief sculptures can make a plaque personal and unique.
